About Globi

Globi is a retail company providing online and offline shopping experiences.

The challenge.

Globi faced scalability bottlenecks during promotional peaks and inconsistent checkout flows across platforms that led to cart abandonment. They needed a modular architecture supporting microservices, elastic scaling, and a unified checkout experience across web and mobile. Mind Supernova had to redesign the checkout pipeline, caching strategy, and product catalog APIs for high concurrency.

Search relevancy and fast personalization were also required to improve conversions.

The solution.

Mind Supernova collaborated with Globi’s in-house engineering and product teams to refactor their e-commerce backend into microservices using Node.js and containerized deployments on AWS. We implemented Redis-based caching and asynchronous order processing to handle promotional traffic spikes. On the frontend, we optimized React rendering for faster load times and integrated real-time inventory updates. Additionally, our team built an AI-driven recommendation engine powered by Python to personalize product listings and search results, enhancing customer engagement and conversion rates.
